Unable
to Open My Invite
|
Q: Why can't I open
my Invite?
A: Please check that
you have copied and pasted the entire
URL/web address in the browser window,
or log into Invite and click on the My
Invite tab to see your events, current
and past.

Responding
to an Invite
|
Q: What if I'm not
ready to reply?
A: If you are a registered
Invite user, all your Invites, past and
present, are available under My Invite.
Whenever you are ready to reply, go
to My Invite and you'll find your Invite
under Upcoming Events.
If you do not have an Invite account,
you have two options:
1. You can register for an account and
your Invite will already be saved for
you under My Invite.
2. You can save the Invite email you
received and use the personal link to
the invitation to respond anytime you
wish prior to the event.
Q: Can I change my
reply once I've posted it?
A: Yes, just go back
to the Invite and click the Change
Your Reply button in the Reply Here
box. Then follow the steps for adding
a comment to post a new reply and/or
comment.

Q: My name is incorrect
on my Invite, what should I do?
A: First, check your
information in your Invite Account Profile.
If your name is correct and you are
a guest on this Invite then we suggest
you email the organizer and let him/her
know. They may have incorrectly entered
your name in the guest list, or in their
address book. You may need them to delete
you from the Invite and then re-Invite
you. They can do this easily by first
clicking on Remove Guests under
Host Editing Tools, and then
clicking on the Invite More People
link to re-send the Invite. The correct
format to enter an address so that a
person's name displays properly is:
RealName <realname@emailaddress.com>.
(Note that this is also great for
entering nicknames or addresses that
apply to multiple people.)
Q: How do I get my
name to show up on the guest list, not
just my email address?
A: Go to the Invite and
click on the Click Here to Display
Your Name link beneath your name.
You will be asked to register. When
you return to your Invite, the name you
entered when you signed up for the account
will now be displayed on this Invite
and all future Invites that you may receive.
If you would like to make any changes/edits
to your name once you have signed up,
you can make them in the Account Profile
page.

Accessing
My Events
|
Q: How do I access
an Invite I've received after I've deleted
the email?
A: Log-in to Invite and
go to My Invite to access your
current and past Invites. If you're not
a registered Invite user, create an account
using the same email address that the
Invite was received under. Go to My
Invite and the Invite you received
can be found under Upcoming Events.

Not
Receiving Invites
|
Q: I sent my Invite
and my guests have not received them,
what is going on?
A: While Invites are typically
sent instantly, they can take longer
at times. Please note, however, that
some guests do not respond right away.
On occasion it can take up to a few
hours for an Invite to be sent. You can
view the status of your guest list by
logging into your account and clicking
on the title of the appropriate Invite.
The "viewed" date will be displayed
next to the guest's name, showing you
when they have viewed the Invite, even
if they have not yet replied.
